Hello! I'm Aakankshaa Melkot
Currently residing in Sarnia, Ontario, I have graduated from the Advanced Photography Program at Lambton College. I have enhanced my knowledge and skills in many genres of photography but Documentary and Portrait Photography hold a special place in my heart. Before studying photography full-time in Canada, I was a Photogrammetry Correction Specialist and Trainer with Eagleview, NY, USA. However, my love for photography kept growing. I am originally from Bangalore, India and I took my first steps into formally learning photography at CMR University where I quickly developed a passion for many forms of Art and Photography.
When I'm not behind the camera, I pursue hobbies such as drawing and collecting vintage items. I've got everything from old-school radios and typewriters to vintage cameras and vinyl records.
My portfolio represents my passion for photography, which reflects my individuality and experiences. I am dedicated to creating and expressing alongside valuing and honouring the art form. I bring a positive and hard-working attitude to the table and will be a great asset to any company, team or project.
